The Philippines is an archipelagic country consisting of 7,641 islands with a population just over 100 million people.

The country has a unique culture featuring both Spanish and American influences, as evident in the strong presence of Catholicism, the unique architecture, and the widespread use of the English language. 

While the country has massive cities, notably the capital Manila, it also holds dense jungle, active volcanoes, and expansive coastlines that attract tourists from around the world.
