INCHEON (SEOUL)

Incheon is a South Korean city with a population of 3 million people, and it holds a wide range of sightseeing, dining, and shopping opportunities. While it is a destination in itself, Incheon also serves as your gateway to the nation’s capital, Seoul.

Seoul is 21 mi/ 34 km inland to the north east of Incheon, and your cruise line will offer a wide variety of tours ranging from visits to historic temples to high tech shopping and electronic districts. For independent travelers,  you can also travel into Seoul on your own via public transportation.

If you wish to stay in Incheon, consider seeing elements of its military history at the Incheon Memorial Landing Hall and Freedom Park (Jayu Park). For lunch, head over to the Chinatown area for all types of tasty dining options. For lovers of the quirky and unusual, head to the Songwol-Dong Fairy Tale Village, where each building is colorfully painted to depict a fairy tale.
