Heading 6 mi/ 10 km left from the port along the coastline will take you to the ferry terminal, where you can head over to the island of Miyajima to see the famous Itsukushima Shrine and the iconic floating Torii gate.

Bonus tip!: If you are going to Miyajima, go beyond the Torii gate and Itsukushima Shrine to the inland Miyajima ropeway that will take you to the Mount Misen Observatory. The views are stunning on a sunny day!
